As part of our onboarding process, you will be introduced to our system step by step, from the kick-off meeting to the go-live of your ticket store.
You get to know your personal contacts and give us the most important information about your events. Our event expert will then set up the ticket system for you with the basic settings. You will receive your access!
You can set up your first event and your ticket store with the help of our “Getting started” video guides. This is accompanied by training sessions with our event experts. You can also request support at any time via our customer portal.

- What ticket types does the ticket system for theaters support?
Our solution offers the sale and dispatch of all common ticket types. After a successful booking, buyers receive a standard e-mail or SMS with the booking confirmation and the ticket, which can be used as a print@home or digital mobile ticket.
As an innovative new ticket format, we are currently developing a “dynamic ticket” for the Mobile Wallet. This is a mobile ticket that dynamically changes content according to predefined triggers. This can be, for example, the admission ticket, which changes into a voucher after the admission scan. Alternatively, a change or push message can be generated by a time or a geo-referenced determination (location).
In addition to the online store, these formats can also be issued in the traditional way at the box office. If appropriate ticket printers/A4 printers are available, the printing of classic thermal tickets or plastic cards (e.g. subscription cards) is also supported.
- Do you offer the sale of specially discounted season tickets or subscriptions?
Sure! With the ticketing system from egocentric Systems, you can sell various subscriptions and season tickets online. Whether you want to discount them is entirely up to you – the price structure is under your control. The system offers various options for offering discounts in advance sales, e.g. via certain promotional codes.
These codes enable a sale for certain target groups, e.g. exclusively before the public sale starts. Or special prices are activated, e.g. which are only shown to your subscribers. It is also possible to activate automated early bird prices, which discount prices in different time periods before the event.
- Can the ticketing system be used in my advance booking offices?
Yes, this is possible. In addition to online sales, you can also equip your Box Office with special “cash register access” in the system. These additional accesses/users are included and there are no additional costs for you. Within the box office, we offer a clear POS system that enables your box office staff to quickly book and settle tickets, subscriptions or articles.
If you already use a POS system, we will check to what extent implementation is possible.
- How long have you actually been around?
egocentric Systems was founded in November 2019. The founders come from the event ticketing industry and have extensive experience in ticketing software, ticket sales and event processes. This experience, gained through successful cooperation with well-known customers such as DTM, Six Day Berlin, Thüringer Bachwochen and the Beethovenfest Bonn, is fully incorporated into the development of our software for the benefit of our customers.
- Can you supply the hardware and software required for the checkout area and the entry check?
As an integrated ticketing solution, we are also happy to advise you and your team on suitable hardware for validating your tickets, memberships, etc. We work with compatible, industry-standard ticket printers and hand scanners. They allow reliable synchronization between hardware and the ticketing system.
If you don’t want to use additional hardware, you can also use any smartphone to validate your tickets at the entrance with the egocentric Systems app (iOS | Android).
For larger venues and buildings, we also recommend implementing an additional module for access control. This can also be seamlessly connected to your ticketing system. It allows you to dynamically distribute visitors to your entrances and gives you a real-time overview of the status of your hardware.
- Do you use our customer data?
A very clear no! egocentric Systems is a provider of ticketing software for events. This means that we provide you with the software, but the data is yours and will not be touched by us. With our white label ticketing system, we also provide you with the software so that the customer can buy from you. In contrast to other ticket providers, the customer data is exclusively yours.
- What kind of reports can I access in your system?
With our ticketing software, you have constant control over the sale of your tickets and goods. As soon as you log into the system, you have a clear dashboard at your disposal. You can see all sales figures, organized according to your current events. There is also a large number of standard ticketing reports and individual statistics for your ticket sales.
You can also use our Report Designer to create your own customized reports and statistics. All reports and ticket statistics can be downloaded as HTML or XLS.
- Is it possible to ask ticket buyers questions when purchasing tickets?
Yes, you have various options for asking user-defined questions when selling tickets. For example, you can ask about food preferences, interests, how the ticket buyer heard about you and much more. Decide for yourself whether your query should be a checkbox, a text field or a drop-down list.
- Is it possible to set up group tickets and group discounts?
Of course you can. You can sell group or family tickets as well as set up group discounts. A possible group discount would be, for example, that your ticket buyers receive a 10% discount or one ticket for free if they have 10 or more tickets in their shopping cart.
