Thanks to many years of contact with the event’s organizer, our team didn’t miss the opportunity to give a presentation. The event that brings ticketing providers and organizers together

The Audience Success Conference 2024 in Munich offered event organizers, ticketing experts and tech visionaries a unique platform to experience the latest developments in ticketing and shape the future of the industry together. The event was designed for networking and to take away interesting ideas from talks and keynotes. Our team also contributed to the latter: In his keynote, Moritz Lux spoke about the revolution of mobile wallet marketing, which transforms event attendance into a comprehensive experience and creates long-term customer loyalty.

Under this heading, Moritz took the audience on a journey. The topic was the pioneering role of e-commerce in online sales and what the ticketing industry can learn from it. He started with the experiment “What do you think of when you hear online shopping”? “Amazon!” shouts the first member of the audience enthusiastically into the room, faster than Moritz can click on the next slides. And the audience member is right: most shoppers think of large mail order companies or fashion brands when it comes to online shopping.

We took advantage of this fact for the keynote, because a new technology is currently on the rise in e-commerce that will revolutionize marketing and buyer loyalty: Mobile Wallet Marketing. Moritz shed light on the potential of this technology, which enables event organizers in Germany to reach fans across the country directly and in real time. This exclusive access makes fans feel not only informed, but part of an exclusive circle – a decisive advantage for customer loyalty.

Our message at the Audience Success Conference 2024 was clear: ticketing in Germany and beyond must no longer be seen as just an administrative process, but must become an experience that excites fans. For the GFL clubs, the combination of innovative event technology and comprehensive expertise in the areas of software, hardware and marketing was the decisive factor in choosing egocentric Systems. The partnership, which takes effect immediately and will be exclusive from 2027, represents a strategic development. The five-year collaboration lays the foundation for a long-term partnership that we hope will continue beyond the term of the contract.

GFL Managing Director Torben Dill emphasizes this as well: “With one provider, we will create a uniform GFL experience over time that will benefit fans and clubs alike. The technical finesse of egocentric Systems tipped the scales in favor of the clubs.”

“For egocentric Systems, this partnership is a milestone in the future of German football,” explains Sven Müller. “After a successful collaboration with several ERIMA GFL and GFL2 clubs, we are looking forward to taking the next step as an official ticketing partner.
